Closures Coming to I-90 Exits Near George Thursday and Friday

WSDOT announced Wednesday that travelers through George via I-90 need to be aware of closures moving through the area Thursday as a contractor conducts some pavement work.

Communications Manager Lauren Loebsack said the westbound I-90 Exit 151 off-ramp will be closed starting at 7:30 am.

"We'll also need to close the westbound Exit 151 on-ramp and that's going to be roughly around the same time, probably from 8:00 am to 10:00 am." explained Loebsack, "So if that's the exit that you get off, try to get through there before 7:30 am or understand that you'll need to go down to the next exit to turn around."

By midday the contractor will move to the westbound I-90 Exit 149 ramps from roughly 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Crews will work on the eastbound Exit 149 ramps sometime in the midday Friday.
