‘Credible Threat’ Forces Wenatchee School Board Online

Wenatchee police are investigating what's being called a credible threat against members of the Wenatchee School Board. The incident happened late Friday afternoon.

Communications Manager Diana Haglund stated that due to safety concerns the school board will move their next board meeting online.

"The virtual meeting will take place as scheduled on Tuesday, September 14th at 6:00 pm." said Haglund, "The public can view the board meeting on the district's YouTube channel."

Public comment will still be accepted during the online meeting. To sign up for public comment, visit the district's website here.

All school board meetings will be held virtually until further notice.

Haglund added that there is no threat to any of the students at nearby Orchard Middle School.
