The Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market will have shorter hours this Saturday in response to the excessive heat expected to hit the area.

The weekly event will happen from 8-11 a.m. in its usual spot in front of Pybus Public Market.

The artisan market will still take place inside Pybus from 8-1.

The shortened hours are designed to keep vendors from being outside in the high temperatures for too long.
