Fifth COVID-19 Vaccine Going to Phase 3 of Trials
A fifth COVID-19 vaccine has reached the final stage of clinical trials.
The candidate from Novavax begans its study Monday at several sites in the U-S, including the University of Washington.
Up to 1,000 volunteers will be enrolled from a variety of age and ethnic groups, but also from different places around the state.
It joins vaccines from Johnson & Johnson and Astra-Zenaca in the trial phase…along with ones made by Pfizer and Moderna already in circulation.
