Grant County Health Officer Dr. Alexander Brzezny and the Health District are recommending that for at least the next four weeks, masks should be worn in all indoor spaces and outdoors where distancing is not possible despite a person's vaccination status.

In a press release with the guidance, GCHD cited low vaccination rates, high hospitalization rates and difficulties knowing who is vaccinated and who is not.

The CDC recently stated that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks in most cases.

The Grant County Health District says their recommendations will be reviewed weekly.
