Link Transit will begin operating free a shuttle between Columbia Station and the Town Toyota Center Tuesday for those scheduled to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

Communications Coordinator Eric West said the shuttle will run twice a day, 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

"The folks that ride the bus down there while stay on the vehicle while they get their shot. The vehicle will just get in line like a regular car or truck … and go through the whole process." detailed West, "The person administering the shots will get on the coach and give everybody their shot. Then (the bus) will go into the waiting area and hopefully be back in Columbia Station within a half hour."

Riders must have an appointment for a vaccination at the Town Toyota Center scheduled sometime within the same week. Each shuttle will have the capacity for 11 riders.

The shuttle will depart from Bay A-4 at Columbia Station.
