North Central Education Foundation Funded Every Applicants’ Classroom Grant Request

The North Central Education Foundation Board was able to fund one Teacher Classroom Grant to every applicant for the 2020 Teacher Classroom Awards.

This is the first time in ten years the foundation was able to support every applicant with 120 teachers receiving funds this year.

"What made this year different was because the teachers have had to revamp their thinking because of the COVID restrictions," said Eldene Wall, NCEF liaison. "We wanted to adapt our awards accordingly. The teachers are so creative about teaching their students. We gave them more flexibility than usual."

The grant funding is fueled by donations from community organizations and businesses.
