Okanogan County Fires All Improving
The Cedar Creek, Cub Creek, Delancy and Muckamuck fires are all improving and over at least 60% contained.
PIO Mark Garrett said that although the four fires together have burned over 138,000 acres, crews in some areas are already pulling equipment off of the fires.
"There has been minimal fire activity on all our fires here. Cedar and Cub are pretty much cold with only a few smokes." explained Garrett, "Muckamuck still has a little active burning on the Northwest side."
The Delancy Fire is 95% contained, while the Cedar Creek Fire is 80% contained, the Cub Creek Fire is at 70% and the Muckamuck Fire improved to 60% over the last day.
The town of Conconully is back open, although there are still local road and trail closures.
