Eight Colonial Vista Residents Positive for COVID-19

Eight residents at Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista in Wenatchee have tested positive for COVID-19. Both of Chelan County's two COVID-19 related deaths have been residents of Colonial Vista.

According to a release sent by Prestige to News Radio 560 KPQ, a number of residents at Colonial Vista were tested after two residents were transferred to Central Washington Hospital on March 22nd and tested positive. Those that are infected with COVID-19 remain isolated within the assisted living facility.

The two residents that have died were ages 84 and 91, and were also experiencing other underlying health issues.

Prestige said they are continuing to closely monitor all patients and residents at Colonial Vista, and all permitted visitors, such as necessary personnel, are going through additional screenings and hygiene procedures.
