Several Services Planned for Memorial Day
There are several services planned this Monday as the Wenatchee Valley commemorates the 153rd Memorial Day.
The Memorial Day Program is under the direction of the Patriotic Council.

- City Proclamation & Memorial Day Address - Mayor Frank Kuntz
- Laying of Wreaths - Featuring Veterans of Foreign Wars #3617, Veterans of Foreign Wars #3617 Auxiliary, American Legion Post #10, American Legion Post #10 Auxiliary, John Kendrick Chapter NSDAR, Gold Star Mothers, Military Order of the Purple Heart, U.S. Armed Forces and Wartime Merchant Marine

Columbia River Pedestrian Bridge - 10:00 am
In memory of those lost at sea. After a brief dedication a wreath will be released from the mid-point of the bridge into the Columbia River by East Wenatchee Mayor Jerrilea Crawford and Wenatchee Mayor Frank Kuntz.

Pybus Market 12:00 pm
- Pybus Market will hold a Memorial Day Flag Ceremony. This moving and somber ceremony will include a Convocation and a short history of Memorial Day. "Taps" will be played and an Honor Guard will conduct the Firing of Three Volleys to Honor the Fallen.
