Cascade School Board

For the second time in as many years, the Cascade School Board is a Board of Distinction, raves the Washington State School Directors' Association.

The Cascade School District is looking for a new board member. Cascade superintendent, Tracey Beckendorf-Edou, says the opening was created after Zachary Miller stepped down from the board earlier this week. Cascade was named to the Small District Category while Quincy was named to the Medium District Category.

Due to District boundaries, Jennifer Saugen, who formerly took the District 3 Cascade School District School Board position after Carrie Sorensen's resignation, technically resides in District 1 despite living in Plain. Therefore Saugen resigned and Zachary Miller will take his oath of office at the Monday school board meeting...
