On Jan. 5, Chelan County Hearing Examiner Andrew Kottkamp approved an application to subdivide 2.06 acres into six lots in what is known as the Howson subdivision.

The transmission lines going through this new substation is projected to provide power to over 2,000 single-family homes.

Units will be classified as low-density housing, including single-home residences, duplexes, ADUs and townhomes.
