The U.S. Senate passed a $1.9 Trillion COVID relief package Saturday.
Washington Senator Maria Cantwell voted in favor of the bill calling it important.

4th District Representative Dan Newhouse voted against a House bill that would increase the stimulus payout to $2,000 Monday.
In a statement about his vote, the Republican said, "Individuals and families in Central Washington are struggling, but they want paychecks — not handouts, which is why I supported the bipartisan relief package President Trump signed into law."
Anyone interested in running for office has from 9:00 a.m. Monday through 4:00 p.m. Friday to file with the appropriate County Auditor's office.
