Governor Jay Inslee praised the state's continued COVID-19 vaccine rollout Thursday. According to the state COVID-19 Data Dashboard, which was last updated Monday, Washington State is approaching 1 million vaccines administered.

Inslee said he is pleased that the Biden Administration was able to make a deal Thursday for 200 million more vaccine doses from Pfizer and Moderna

"This is ultimately our salvation." stated Inslee, "We are ready to do many fold the vaccinations that we have vaccines today. We have the vaccinators. We have the supply people. We have the data people. All we need is the vaccine. So I'm very pleased that the federal government has been able to indicate they are going to have an increase in supplies. We can't wait until they get here."

According to the state, at least 72% of the vaccines delivered to Washington have been administered, good for 15th best in the nation.
