The Wenatchee School District released a stakeholder survey Thursday.

Communications Director Diana Haglund said this is a continuation of what's been a 7 month process for Superintendent Paul Gordon and his transition into the community. Gordon has met with over 1,000 people in a variety of meetings.

According to the district, the survey is structured to collect thoughts on areas that the district is doing well, possibilities for the future, as well as obstacles and areas to prioritize. Information gathered through the survey will then be combined with input from previous public meetings. That data will ultimately result in a report that will be given to the school board in early March. The board will then work with staff to create a new strategic plan.

Gordon sent a personalized email to parents, staff, volunteers and students grades 8 through 12 inviting them to take the survey. You can find the survey at wenatcheeschools.org or at any district building. The survey will be available until March 1st.
