The Nonprofit Practices Institute - a partnership between the Community Foundation of NCW and the Icicle Fund - has provided Strategic Consulting grants for 14 regional nonprofits. The grant provides recipients' a consultant for one on one work for several months.

"Our community organizations are ready for support coming out of the pandemic and all the lessons we've learned from the social justice movement and get that opportunity to look internally and reflect on who are we as an organization," said Christine Morgan, executive director of Icicle Fund.

The consultant will help organizations hone skills in planning, engagement, collaboration and organizational culture and structure. The grant funds cover consultant expenses.

"This is an opportunity for a pause and reflection and then setting direction and go," said Morgan. "Working with a consultant at this particular time for these organizations is really going to support them in making an even bigger impact for our entire community moving forward."

Grant recipients include Chelan Valley Hope, Upper Valley MEND and Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. A full list can be found here.
