Arson Suspects Arrested in Kittitas County

The Kittitas County Sheriff's Department arrested two men after two suspicious fires and burglaries in the areas of Colockum Road and Cooke Canyon Road.

The first incident happened Friday night when a homeowner reported smoke and visible flames from their cabin. It was quickly put out and an investigation revealed the burglary.

A similar incident happened Saturday night as well, but this time, the homeowner saw two people suspicious people in the area and was able to give a vehicle description.

A delivery driver also saw the same vehicle and provided the info to law enforcement.

The two men were found in separate residences in Ellensburg and face multiple charges.
