The latest numbers provided by the Chelan-Douglas Health District are showing that the two-county area has dropped below 200 new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people over the past 14 days.

Chelan County has about 205 per 100,000 while Douglas County is at 147 for a combined 184 for both.

Testing is now being done using two methods and both sets of positives are being counted separately.

While far short of the desired 25 or less per 100,000 people, the two counties have shown marked improvement over recent weeks from when it was above 500.
