Chelan County Man in His 40’s Dies from COVID-19

The Chelan-Douglas Health District is reporting another death from COVID-19. The passing brings the total number of deaths in Chelan County to 17.

The Chelan County resident was a male in his 40's. 24 COVID-19 related deaths have now occurred in the two county area.

The Washington State Department of Health constitutes a COVID-19 death as a death occurring among those who have a positive COVID-19 test who did not die in a homicide, suicide, or accident. The death certificate must also include COVID-19 or COVID-like terms as a cause or contributing factor to death.
