Confluence Health ranks high among medical centers statewide in the this year's checkup report from the Washington Health Alliance.

The nonprofit group rates hospitals based on their delivery of cost effective care as well as prevention and screening services and care for chronic diseases.

Confluence Health Central Washington Hospital ranked third in the state for patients enrolled in Medicaid, and Confluence Wenatchee Valley Hospitals and Clinics was 11th for those with commercial plans.

Commercial plans include people who get their health insurance through their employers while Medicaid provides coverage as a government program.

Confluence Health is among the 325 medical groups across the state that were included in the Health Alliance rankings.

Confluence Wenatchee Valley Hospitals also ranked 9th in the Medicaid category.

The complete compilations from the Washington Health Alliance's 2022 report includes results for 1,875 clinics, 325 medical groups, 100 hospitals, and 16 health plans across Washington state.
