The East Wenatchee Water District is closing multiple sections of 10th Street Northeast during daytime hours starting Monday for the next three months.

The closures are being done to make upgrades for the expansion of Microsoft’s operations in the Pangborn Industrial Area.

Different sections of 10th Street Northeast will be closed to through-traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through the end of October.

The Water District says detour routes will be posted.

Occasional single-lane-flagger-controlled or shoulder closures will start immediately as the contractor prepares for construction by installing work-zone signs.

A smaller project will close section of 31st Street Northeast in East Wenatchee.

A private irrigation project will shut down the at Northwest Cascade Avenue from 7 a.m. Monday through Friday at 6 p.m. to repair a leaking irrigation main for a group of homeowners.

The closure could include a flagger to control traffic flow. The city says there's a signed detour route.
