Cleanup work north of Entiat will require lane closures and traffic control on US 97A near Knapps Hill Tunnel Tuesday.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, a crew is cleaning loose rock out of the catch basins and ditch line between milepost 224 and 225 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. This will require a single lane closure with the use of an automated flagger assistance device.

Travelers between Chelan and Entiat can expect delays up to 20 minutes during working hours. Those traveling between Chelan and Wenatchee can use US 97 on the east side of the Columbia River to avoid delays.
