Governor Jay Inslee signed the three supplemental budgets Friday but vetoed $235 million in spending in the operating budget.

In a statement regarding the budget, Gov. Inslee said, "As we address the health crisis, we must also look ahead to ease as much fiscal pain as we can. It is all but certain that we will need to make adjustments to our next budget cycle and we must get started now."

Republican budget leaders Sen. John Braun and Rep. Drew Stokesbary applauded the cuts but did note more spending cuts should have happened.

In total, nearly 150 line-items were vetoed.
