The Office of Governor Jay Inslee released updated guidance Tuesday afternoon for miscellaneous venues such as event centers, designated meeting spaces in hotels, and convention centers.

According to the issuance, event venues are not allowed to be open in a county until Phase 2 of the state's Safe Start plan. Networking events and live entertainment are still prohibited, while activities like business meetings, training, and testing is permitted provided they cannot be performed virtually.

Indoor capacity is limited to 30% or 200 people, whichever is less. Venues must adhere to CDC elevator and escalator protocols, and must post signs strongly advising no talking in elevators.

Organizers will also be required to ensure all attendees are pre-registered and retain contact information for all attendees. Additionally, public seating areas must be removed or adjusted to ensure physical distancing compliance.
