"A young male who showed us his vehicle which had some paint damage, broken tail lights and the letters F-A-G on one window in blue paint," said Police Chief Tom Robbins.

The victim reported he had parked his car Thursday evening at around 6:45 p.m. and discovered the damage when he got into the car the next morning at around 7 a.m.

"He (the victim) had an idea about the possible suspect but said he didn't have enough information to report the individual so he chose not to report the individual at the time," said Chief Robbins. "Because of the nature of the incident, we have listed it as a hate crime."
