Chelan-Douglas Health District Administrator Luke Davies spoke Tuesday on the subject of masks and double-masking.

Davies said wearing masks will be vital in order to stay in Phase 2.

"At the beginning of the pandemic there was a massive shortage of masks." explained Davies, "Right now, the PPE volume that we're able to procure is sufficient for people to double mask if they feel more comfortable with that. A lot of it depends on what type of mask you're using."

Davies added that if you're using a fabric mask, wash it daily. Those using surgical masks should replace their mask daily. Both methods must still be done for those wearing a 'double mask'.
