The Chelan County Superior Court recently completed its first jury trial since they were suspended in April of this year.

According to the court, 47 Chelan County residents reported in three waves to take part in jury orientation and selection. Group sizes were limited to 18 to allow for appropriate social distancing. Prospective jurors were contacted via phone or email and asked if they had any concerns regarding the orientation and selection process, and most reported they felt comfortable with the safety measures.

The court adds that anyone who receives a summons to visit their website to learn more about jury duty and the precautions that have been put in place.
