Lake Chelan Health Moves Into Contract for Potential Interim CEO

Lake Chelan Health board of directors is moving forward with Emmett Schuster as interim Chief Executive Officer if a permanent CEO isn't appointed by January 19, 2022. In October, the board appointed the Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Cornwell, as the temporary interim CEO.

"A long time permanent CEO takes much longer to recruit," said Agustin Benegas, Lake Chelan communications manager. "Right now they have it scheduled to bring in a candidate for the permanent CEO position."

Schuster has a Masters degree in healthcare.
