Lake Chelan Valley Back to School Fair to Provide Backpacks for 500 Students

Thrive Chelan Valley, along with local sponsors, is set to host the 7th annual Lake Chelan Valley Back to School Fair on August 22 from 1-4 p.m. The fair will be held at the Mountain Goat Field parking lot near the Chelan Walmart.

"We'll have backpacks full of pencils, erasers, glue, crayons, markers and other necessary items just to help kids get a good start to their school year," said Kayla Helleson, executive director.

Students from Chelan and Manson are invited to attend the drive thru style fair. Backpacks will be provided along with flyers with community resources for parents to tap into for the school year.
