Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue to Test Emergency Siren

Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue will be testing the emergency evacuation siren at Station 92 at Chiwawa River Pines and Station 94 at Ponderosa Tuesday the 20th.

According to their Facebook page, the siren will go off at noon and last for about one minute.

They are stressing that this is only a test and there is no need for any action.

In the event of a real emergency, the fire department says the siren will be turned continuously for about 20 minutes.
