Leavenworth Resident to Serve on State Advisory Board for Law Enforcement Accountability

A Leavenworth resident, Norma Gallegos, is being appointed to the Office of Independent Investigation advisory board by Governor Jay Inslee.

The board is an independent body that will investigate police force cases.

Gallegos is an immigration services coordinator and will serve beside a city council member, police chief and a tribal member, among others.
