The Leavenworth Planning Commission is holding a public hearing on February 3 to hear from residents as the commission re-writes the city transportation plan.

The planning commission has been working with professional consulting firm, Fehr & Peers, to rewrite the Transportation Element.

"One of the primary drivers in this work was getting a new level of service adopted that reflects the weekend tourism that we have," said Lilith Vespier, development services manager.

The Transportation Element has been streamlined for readability as well. Other additions to the document include updated goals and polices and an updated project list.

The meeting will be held via Zoom at 7 p.m.
