Local Family Joins ‘American Freedom Convoy’ to D.C.

Local couple, Angie and Junior Cole, are tagging along for the American Freedom Convoy that will depart from Wenatchee on March 1 and head to the nation's capital, Washington D.C. This convoy is a similar effort to the Canadian truckers convoy.

"The truckers, especially up in Canada, are really the ones who got this going, but everyone from all walks of life are now getting involved to support the convoy and drive with the convoy," said Angie Cole, participant. "It's definitely become an American movement."

According to Angie Cole, the trek's goal is to be a peaceful rally that brings back American comradery and draws attention to the need for freedom.

Angie adds the whole family is coming along for the journey, including the family pets.
