Grant County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic violence incident Maple Drive in Moses Lake Thursday night.

When they arrived, 30-year-old Timothy Riggins attempted to flee when he was found by Moses Lake Police and their K9 Rex who caught Riggins on a stack of sheetrock.

Riggins begged officers to remove the dog and when they did, he attempted to flee again. He was caught by Rex a second time and placed into custody.

Riggins was also wanted on a Department of Corrections warrant and placed into Grant County Jail.

Moses Lake Police say that this is a excellent example of how different agencies work together.
