NCW Libraries and the Initiative for Rural Innovation & Stewardship (IRIS) are rolling out a digital archive for the public, NCW Collections, to access stories focused on the community.

IRIS is fueled by the mission to foster sustainable rural North Central Washington by sharing regional success stories. NCW Libraries provided technical support to build the website and assisted in grant writing for the digital archive.

"IRIS believes that thriving communities and a healthy environment creates success. That really aligns with our mission at NCW Libraries to build community and connect people to resources so it's just a perfect partnership," said Amanda Brack, communications manager.

The archives date back to 2003 and the latest stories are from 2021. To visit the archives, click here.
