Next COVID-19 Death Will Be Chelan-Douglas’ 100th

The Chelan-Douglas Health District is reporting eight more confirmed COVID-19 deaths.

Health Communications Director Veronica Farias said seven of the deaths occurred in August while the last passed away in early September.

Six men and two women passed away. Only one victim was from Douglas County while the other seven victims were from Chelan County.

"I think the most important thing to note is that none of them were vaccinated," stated Farias.

The passings bring the two county area's COVID death total to 99.
