The online state Phase Finder tool will no longer required to schedule a vaccine appointment beginning Wednesday.

Chelan-Douglas Health District Administrator Luke Davies says they're trying to clear up any confusion surrounding eligibility.

"Part of the reason that Phase Finder is being phased out is that it takes them about two weeks to update in 32 different languages. It's not able to keep up with the changes that are happening with how quickly we're moving through the vaccinations."

Those who visit the Phase Finder site will be directed to Vaccine Locator.

Davies says this does not mean everyone is now eligible for the vaccine, and we are still going through the phase process through the end of April.

"We're still asking that individuals who do not have co-morbidities or are fairly young and healthy to just wait a little bit. That way we can reduce the amount of people who are at risk of going to the hospital or getting very sick if they contract COVID."

Vaccine Phase 1B, Tiers 3 and 4 become eligible to get their first dose Wednesday.
