Plain COVID Testing Start Pushed Back to Wednesday

Due to forecasted hazardous air quality levels in the region, the Chelan-Douglas Health District (CDHD) made the decision Monday to cancel the COVID-19 testing that was scheduled for Tuesday, September 15th in Plain.

According to the health district, testing will now be available Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th at Station 93, 19015 Beaver Valley Road in Plain (next to Beaver Valley School).

The team will be reviewing air quality levels throughout the week to ensure safe operations outdoors and may make additional changes. CDHD is also reminding everyone to please stay indoors during the hazy conditions, use a HEPA filter if possible and wear a mask if you must go outdoors.
