Ritzville Republican Senator Mark Schoesler says while the economy is recovering, the last thing needed is a tax on capital gains, but Senate Democrats will push ahead with a discussion on one.

"They scheduled a version of the Capital Gains income tax for Tuesday."

The former Senate Minority Leader says he's happy businesses are opening across the state, but that in celebration of a recent holiday, there's not much to love about the proposal.
