8th District Representative Kim Schrier will hold a Congressional Vietnam-Era Veterans Recognition and Pinning Ceremony in Wenatchee Saturday, November 9th.

The ceremony will take place at the Veterans Hall, 504 S. Chelan Avenue in Wenatchee, starting at noon.

United States veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1st, 1955 to May 15th, 1975, regardless of location, are eligible to receive a commemorative lapel pin. The pin was created by the Department of Defense to honor the 7.2 million surviving Vietnam veterans who served.

Veterans interested in participating should RSVP to Kelli Scott, kelli.scott@mail.house.gov or 509-850-5340 by Wednesday, November 6.
