The 2020 edition of the Chelan County Fair has been canceled.
Manager Karen Welch says the pandemic forced their hands, but they do want to find something to help the kids who adopted and were hoping to sell animals.

The Chelan County Fair Board will meet this week to discuss all possibilities when it comes to the 2020 edition.
Commissioner Bob Bugert says they hope to have a decision by then, but no later than the end of the month.

The Chelan County Fair is looking for a theme for the 2020 edition of the event and they're asking the public to help out.
On the Fair's Facebook page, they are holding a Fair Theme Contest and the deadline to participate is tomorrow.

The Chelan County Fair begins Thursday and Public Works will begin their preparations Tuesday.
Wescott Drive, from Sunset Highway to Kimber Road, will be closed. In addition, “no parking” signs will be placed Wednesday on Flowery Divide and Webster Way from Sunset Highway to Michael Court, and on Stine Hill Road from Wescott Drive to Turkey Shoot Road.
