A westbound lane was closed on Vantage Bridge Monday after three holes were discovered in the bridge deck by a crew performing routine maintenance work. These three holes were fixed promptly after the discovery.

"They removed the old concrete, cleaned out the area, put in some new forms and poured new concrete," said Meagan Lott, WSDOT communications officer.

The bridge opened back up last night, but Lott stated the far west lane will remain closed as crews continue maintenance work for the week.
