U.S. Attorney’s Office Warn Against Cards Falsely Claiming Mask Exemption

United States Attorney William Hyslop issued a statement that cards and similar documents with the Department of Justice seal that claim folks are exempt from face mask requirements are fraudulent. The flyers on the Internet that include the use of face masks and the Americans with Disabilities Act with the DOJ seal and ADA phone number are inaccurate. It is advised the public not rely on information postings like these circulating on social media. It is also added that misuse of the seal is a federal crime.
