Waterville Main Street Association Hosts Community Wide Garage Sale

Waterville Main Street Association, local nonprofit, is hosting a Community Garage Sale with over 30 families and businesses participating. The event is May 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and folks are invited to swing by the Pioneer Park Deli to pick up a map for the addresses of participants.

"All of our businesses downtown will be open and weather depending, they'll have sidewalk sales," said Katie Oberweiser, member of Waterville Main Street Association.

There will be estate sales throughout the community and the Friends of the Waterville Library is hosting a book sale. Along with personal families hosting garage sales, local spots will be offering a variety of sales as well.

"One [hosting a sale] is The Barn," said Oberweiser. "It's a couple who collects vintage antiques, vintage décor and eclectic items."

The Waterville Main Street Association focuses its efforts on hosting fun, community happenings in the town and revitalize the downtown area.
