Wellness Place Hosts Fundraiser Featuring Wine & Shopping

Wellness Place, North Central Washington nonprofit that offers free cancer resources and support, is hosting 'Wine, Women and Shoes' on April 15. The fundraiser will be at the Wenatchee Convention Center and include dinner, a contest and a fashion show.

"Wine, Women and Shoes is a national renowned fundraising event that's coming exclusively to Wenatchee for Wellness Place," said Julie Lindholm, executive director. "We'll have national and local vendors that will be selling their goods."

Handbags, purses, accessories will be up for grabs. A silent and live auction will also be underway at the event along with a raffle drawing.

"Wine, women and shoes is our biggest fundraiser of the year this year. For two years, we've had to pivot our gala auction to an online format so we're excited to get together in person, raise money for Wellness Place and the North Central Washington cancer patients we serve," said Lindholm.

Money raised from the event will support Wellness Place to continue to provide services for people impacted by cancer.
