With Chelan County now in Phase 3 of the state's Reopening Plan, the City of Wenatchee is gearing up to open its offices for the first time in over a year.

Mayor Frank Kuntz said City Hall opens up April 12th.

"Masks will be required, but people will be able to come upstairs and pay their utility bill." said Kuntz, "People will be able to walk into Public Works and pick up their building permit and meet with staff."

City Hall will also have a security guard downstairs for the first couple of months. Many of the people entering the building over the last few months have been looking for the Social Security office, which moved into the old city hall last fall.

The City Council's meetings will open up to the public in-person April 22nd.
