NCW Libraries and the city of Wenatchee dedicated the newly renovated Wenatchee Public Library building recently.

Board Chair Denise Sorom says they are excited to allow the community to see the changes as soon as possible.

"The point where we are right now really represents three things. It represents partnerships, generosity and passion."

Recently the library system announced a plan to re-open branches on November 2nd at 25% capacity.

Mayor Frank Kuntz got a sneak peek of the building.

"When you all get in there, it is a special place. Congratulations to the community, the library, the Board and all their volunteers. What a great day. Congratulations everybody."

The project was paid for, in part, by a capital campaign coordinated by Jeff Neher and the Friends of the Wenatchee Public Library that was raised $1.5 million.

NCW Libraries is offering curbside pickup between now and then at their different locations.
