The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will be gathering public input for three weeks, now until December 22, for its 2021 Human Services Transportation Plan. The online open house will solicit broad feedback from folks that rely on human-services transportation.

"[The open house] is giving those regular folks an opportunity to provide some feedback on their experiences using the transportation system in Washington and some of the challenges they've experienced and what might help them," said Jacob Brett, transportation planner.

The human services transportation plan identifies needs and gaps that cause mobility challenges and then develop a strategy to address these elements.

The open house can be found here.

Human service transportation includes options designed to meet the needs of certain populations, including disabled and those with lower income.
