Attorneys for the city of Leavenworth, Friends of Leavenworth and a proposed adventure park were in Superior Court Wednesday presenting arguments regarding the approval of a conditional use permit. City Administrator Joel Walinski says they believe they properly approved the park.

"I think what our attorney presented today was definitely that the city follows our open procedures, had an open process for both sides to present their information and followed the reflection of the law, as it were, in terms of the city code."

The Friends of Leavenworth organization argued that there were shortcuts taken and that permitting was approved incorrectly. Judge Travis Brandt did not make a decision on the case but noted he will do so as soon as he can.
