Avalanche Control On Stevens Pass March 21st

The Washington State Department is advising motorists that an Avalanche Control is planned for US 2 on Stevens Pass March 21st beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Eastbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 58.5 at Scenic, and Westbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 64.5 near Summit.

Avalanche control work usually takes from 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete. WSDOT will provide an update should an extended closure become necessary.
